Where the Rivers Meet was originally published in 2005. It is a compilation of two works: Auraria Remembered, a 1991 oral history by former residents of Denver's Westside Neighborhood compiled by Community College of Denver staff and honors Program students, and Westside Oratorio, a musical written in 2004 by Anthony J. Garcia and Daniel Valdez--T.p. verso.

This 2011 reprinting of Where the Rivers Meet was produced as part of Metropolitan State College of Denver's 45th anniversary celebration, with generous support from the Metro State 45th Anniversary Committee, the Metro State Diversity Office, and the Center for Colorado and the West at the Auraria Library--T.p. verso.
