Garden tip: Seeds do not germinate in cold, wet soil. For the best crop, water equivalent to 1" of rainfall weekly. Deep soakings are better than light sprinklings. Place straw under the pumpkins as they develop.

Big Moon is a bright orange, fast growing beauty that can reach weights of 200 pounds are more. Add to your garden for a dramatic fall decorating touch. The tender flesh can be used for baking. Remove all but one fruit from the vine to grow larger pumpkins.
Description
The Seed Library is a partnership between the Pueblo City-County Library District and the Colorado Master Gardeners of CSU Extension-Pueblo County. Patrons can request and take home seeds to grow in their own gardens, as well as obtain information and take classes pertinent to gardening and the Seed Library.
