Seed Depth: 1/2" Spacing: 4"- 6" Germination: 14-28 days Maturity: 70-90 days

Soak seeds 2-4 hours for best germination rate. Plant outdoors after last frost, in warm soil (65-70F). Full sun.

Different varieties of the same species will cross. Suggested to grow one type at a time.

Biennial, allow to overwinter to next season to produce seeds. Allow seed heads to mature completely (when they are dry and brown) on the plant before harvesting.  Cut off entire head when all seeds on head are mature, place in paper bag to finish drying indoors in cool dark place.
